Bowling/Accuracy - hitting the mark.

Question
Hello, I seem to be having problems hitting my mark. I am standing between 6 and 12 boards left of the first dot, and aiming one board left of the 3rd arrow. About 3 of 5 times I watch my ball roll over my mark, and follow through to a clean strike, but then the other 2 to 3 of 5 times I'm no where close. My average is 198, but I feel could be 220 if I could find my mark more often. I've been told that arm extension could be the problem. If so could you tell me more? So far my best game is 247, and I'm getting frustrated because I can't do it again.

Answer
Think of shaking hands with your target.  PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE.  Another thing that you could try is adjusting your eyes. What this means is find where you usually look and where your ball goes when you look at that particular spot.  So, say for example you look at the 10th board but your ball usually goes over the 7th, you could adjust by looking at the 13th board next time and hit 10).  Let me know what you think (these are things I have been taught and find useful).
