Bowling/Aiming

Question
Should one try to aim further out on the alley (past the arrows) when playiong a lot of hook and big back end break? Will that improve "margin of error"
Also I tend to muiss the "arrow" spot I aim at consistently by 3 to 5 boards for both strikesd and spares. What could I be doing wrong?

Answer
If you miss consistently, I would not worry about it but allow for it in the way you spot.
If you can start to visualize a line to a spot down the lane, at or near your breakpoint, and try to throw the ball along that line, you will increase your area.  If you only look at the spot down the lane, I bet you will want to hit up on the ball or stand up more at the foul line.  Just draw a line through your target to the breakpoint and you should be fine.

Good luck,
