Bowling/Appropriate bowling ball for my track

Question
Hello!
Bowling league is about to begin again in a few weeks and I need to update my equipment.  I currently average around 180-190 and am using mid-range equipment, I currently have a Scout Reactive bowling ball.  I have searched a few websites including bowlersparadise, and have noticed the various "tracks" of the bowling ball during the lane.  Now, I'm not exactly sure of the exact terminology, but this is similar to what I'm looking for.  I like to roll the ball down the outside, near the second arrow, but not too far out.  When I aim for too far outside, I end up dropping my shoulder and hitting the channel.  When I try to roll "outside than in", i.e. start in the center, roll outwards over the third arrow or so, then hook back in, I tend to throw it out too far, and the ball never comes back enough.  Therefore, my question.  Should I use a ball with a more violent ? back end and continue the outside and in approach, or should I get something (not sure what) I can try and go straight with down the second arrow?  I'm just looking for a little advice here, and any suggestion would be appreciated! Thanks!

Answer
If you have a scout reactive, just about any ball above that line will give you more reaction and/or hook.  If you are not looking for a different ball reaction, then you probably dont want to get another ball.

If you are lucky enough to have a pro shop in your area that is hosting an Ebonite demo day, it would be well worth your time and effort to attend.  You will get to throw 6-8 balls in the ebonite line.

If you cant attend or there is not one, you need to have a local pro shop watch you bowl and reccommend something then.

Good luck,
Chip
