Question
MOST DRILLING PATTERNS POSITION  THE PIN UNDER, OR TO THE RIGHT SIDE, OF THE RIGHT FINGER HOLE. THE DISTANCE ALSO VARIES.
IF YOU ARE CONCERNED ABOUT HOOK, AND THE DEGREE OF HOOK, IS THERE A GENERAL "RULE OF THUMB" AS TO WHERE, AND HOW FAR AWAY, THE PIN SHOULD BE LOCATED? ( FOR EXAMPLE, " THE MORE TO THE RIGHT, THE GREATER ( OR LATER) THE HOOK")

Answer
The most aggressive layout would have the pin and the cg 3 3/8 of an inch from your PAP.  In general, when you move the pin farther from your PAP, the ball will hook later.  When you move the pin closer to your PAP, the ball will hook sooner.
The more aggressive the layout, the more the ball will flare and generally will hook more.

Good luck,
