Bowling/Ball Cleaning

Question
I have an ebonite overtime that I have been cleaning with rubbing alcohol after every outing. I've heard of people that have cleaned their equipment by putting it in a bucket of warm water with detergent. I was wondering if either of these is ok to use on my ball. If not, is there anything that works better? I have heard of cases where balls crack after going from the warm to cold. Does this happen often? Thank You,
Adam

Answer
If you only want to clean the ball, Ebonite, Neo-Tac, and Storm make some really good cleaners.  If you want to remove some of the oil, you can use a blow drier and some water mixed with dawn detergent.  Ebonite also has the Hook Again that works really well to restore ball reaction.  I am not much of a believer of the alcohol.

Good luck,
Chip
