Bowling/Ball Fitting and Drilling

Question
Hi Chip,
I can't seem to get a proper fit and drilling at my local pro shop. The pro I use doesn't take into consideration pitch, anatomy or range of motion of the individual bowler. Do you know somewhere I can go in South Florida (preferrably but not necessarily near Miami) to get a proper fitting and drilling of my bowling balls? I don't mind driving for one or two hours to get somewhere that has the expertise to fit and drill my ball correctly.

Most of the bowlers who use my pro have big calluses and disfigurations mainly around the thumb. Also, a lot of bowlers complain of wrist pain. As for me, I just don't want to keep bowling through the pain. I'm hoping with a proper fit my bowling ball will feel comfortable in my hand. Does this sound right?

Thank you,
Todd

Answer
I am sorry, but I dont know any ball drillers in south Florida.  I would suggest going to ballreviews.com or the forums on PBA.com.  There will be bowlers that read and post on those sites that can help you.  On PBA.Com, they should have alist of PBA Member pro shops as well.

There is no reason to have pain and/or disfigurement from bowling.

Good luck,
Chip
