Question
Hello,

I'm going to purchase a Brunswick Impulse Zone soon.  The purchase will be made online, where I will then take it to my local proshop to be drilled.

I was noticing upon checkout that I had the option of choosing the pin location (four options: 0"-2", 2"-4", 4"+) and the top weight amount (from less than 2.5oz to more than 3.5oz).  I'm not sure what the best option for me would be.  Does it really matter?  Say I order the ball from a different site that doesn't give me those two options.  Based on how the ball is drilled, could it take away from the reaction of the ball?

The only thing I am informed enough to tell you about my game is I throw the ball on average about 13.5 mph, and usually stand somewhere around the 2nd or 3rd dot on the left of the approach and usually aim for the 2nd or 3rd arrow on the right.  Hope this helps!

Answer
If you have the choice, ask for 2-4 on both pin and top weight.  Those will give your ball driller the most layout options.

With your ball speed, you would prefer balls that are pin out at least 3 inches and 3-4 ounces of top weight.

Other ball can be made to work, but may be limited as to how much they can help your game.

Good luck,
Chip
