Question
Hi chip. i just bought a brunswick raging inferno from my local pro shop. i've realise that he drilled my finger hole right through the pin of the ball(the color pin). However i can still see a punch mark on the ball between the finger holes to the thumb holes. Will the ball be ruin since the pin is drilled upon. What is the difference between the CG and pin. Thanks

Answer
The CG is the center of gravity and is the heaviest spot on the ball going through the center of the ball and the ball surface.  The pin shows the oreintation of the core.  Although I try to never drill into the pin, it does not hurt the overall performance of the ball, depending on what kind of reaction is being looked for.  I has changed the RG differential a bit, but it shouldnt hurt the balls performance.

Good luck,
Chip
