Question
Make this easy for me please!  When someone says they have a ball drilled 5-1/4" x 4" what does that mean?

Also, what does pin in or pin out mean?

Thanks for any help.

Answer
5 1/4 is the distance the pin is placed from the bowlers positive axis point while the 4 is the distance the CG from the positive axis point.

A pin in ball will have the pin 0 to 1 1/2 inches from the cg and a pin out will have the pin  1 1/2 inches or greater from the cg.

Hope this helps.
