I am a backup bowler, and have been for several years. I currently have a 16 lb. Columbia Beast that is on its last leg! My ball is drilled for me as if I were a lefty! Can you suggest a ball that is compareable to my Beast for my style of bowling?

Last years Ebonite Whirlwind has a very similar core and pearl coverstock. Most backup bowlers don't throw very hard. Is that your case? Is your Beast shiny? Shiny from use (oil shine)?

The top of the weight block is more dense than the Beast, so the Whirlwind may be a touch stronger. Are you a stronger spare shooter than strike bowler? The Whirlwind, depending on a compatible layout should fit the bill.

Brunswick had plans on a similar weight block (but flipped upside down) but manufacturing foul-ups (on the new Avalanche dull and pearl) at their new ball plant in Mexico  delayed the introduction. Probably being introduced in January.
