Bowling/Balls for Medium Dry lanes

Question
Hi, I'm left-hand bowler and bowled for the past two years and my latest average is about 180. I own a Total NV and Columbia Chris Barnes. The problem that I face is the leagues that I took part in have medium dry conditions and my Total NV hooks too much (Chris Barnes is 15 months old and losing its impact when hit the pins). I adjusted by moving to my feet to the right, from 2 to 5 boards. Should I adjust my feet to suit the lane condition or find a ball that fits the medium dry lane? Appreciate your advice. Thanks, Sean.

Answer
Is the Barnes ball polished?  If so, that is more of a medium condition ball than the NV.
Having said that, I would try adjusting your line which may include moving your feet and your target.  There is not a ball made that will let you play where the lane says you cannot.

Good luck,
Chip
