Question
I have been getting major blisters on the side of my thumb and I would like to know what could I do to stop the cause of these blisters?  Is it in the drilling or in the way I hold my ball.  Also I have a major problem in holding my wrist in the same postion in my backswing.  Could I use a Wrist device to help me keep my whole arm in line?  What does these devices do anyway? Some of them looks like a robot arm. Thank you for taking my question.

Answer
What side of your thumb?
There are several things that can cause the blister depending on what part of the thumb.  Size of the hole, the pitch of the hole, the shape of the hole, or the grip span can all be a cause.

If you want the wrist to be stationary as far as flexion goes, a wrist device can be of help.  If you want to keep from rotating, there is not a wrist device that will stop or prevent that.

Good luck,
