Question I want to purchase a bowling ball for my wife and was curious as to which type of ball would be a good fit for a beginner bowler. I guess my question would pertain to which type of coverstock I should go with. She has little experience and does not know how to use a hook, but she would like to learn. So if you could be of any assistance it would be greatly appreciated.
Answer There are a few balls to look at from several companies. Brusnwick has the Power Grooves, Columbia has the Scout series, Ebonite has the Tornados, and Storm has the Tropical line. Any of these would work and allow her to learn better technique and actually see the improvement. I would go with the reactive resin versions and not any type of particle coverstock.
