Hi there!  I'm getting my brother a bowling ball for a gift and he uses a 13 lb ball.  The ball I need to get him comes in 12 or 14 lbs.  He bowls in a league with a bunch of friends, averaging around 170 or so.  Do you think I should go with the 12 or 14?  I would ask him, but it needs to be a surprise.  Thanks for any advice you can give me.

How old is your brother and how much does he weigh?

If he is using a house ball, one the center provides, I would think he could use a 14# ball that is drilled for him.
