Question
Hello Chip
I am coming back to the game after 7 back surgerys with 4 fusions and 18 years away from game. How do I go from spot bowling to BPM or the bulls eye when there is nothing to spot on synthetic lanes but a shinny surface at the 40 to 45 foot mark? I am currently at 208 and cannot seem to keep a consistent target with my eyes when I can't find something to focus on that far down the lane and keep going back to arrows which seems to promote inconsistency on my part at times.

Thanks
Tony

Answer
We have the same type of problems here with our synthetics and it does create some targeting issues.  I try to just pick out a reflection of someting down the lane as a general target area.  Even if you have to use the arrows, make sure you try to get an imaginary line to your breakpoint before you start your approach.  This will at least give you the proper launch angle.

Good luck,
Chip
