Question
Hi, I enjoyed bowling in college and recently took up the sport again.  Read your post "finding the best ball for me".  I am also looking for a ball suited for me and want to buy it on-line and have it drilled locally.  How can I tell if a driller is any good?  What kind of questions should I ask?  Do you know anyone in Northern New Jersey who is a good driller?  What should I expect to pay to have a ball drilled?  Thanks.  Barry

Answer
I would think there would be several good ball drillers in your area, but I dont know anyone off the top of my head.  You may want to go to ballreviews.com and post on there with that question.

I would ask some bowlers in your area.  They will know the good ones and the ones to stay away from.  Look for a PBA member pro shop and/or a IBPSIA member pro shop.

Ball drilling fees will vary, but I would expect to pay 50.00 or more with inserts.

Good luck,
Chip
