Bowling/Coverstocks

Question
Hi again Chip.

Got a few questions, I figured since you are an ebonite staff member, you might be able to answer this.  It is about the coverstocks on V2's.  I know the V2 sanded has a 1200 grit reactive surface and that the V2 strong/r has a 500 grit reactive surface. Can you tell me the grits or sandings on the V2 sweet, clean, power, dry, strong, and particle.  The website does not say anything specific about it, just that they are particle or reactive with or without polish.  Also, what difference to you find between the V2 line and the Excell line.

Thanks Chip, really appreciate it.  Also, does the  "one" really live up to the hype of being a superior ball.  I see people everywhere throwing it and claim their averages climbed since buying it.  Just askin :)

Later
Jay.

Answer
The One lives up to the hype from what I have seen.

All of the stuff I use is polished, so I dont remember what surface they started out with.

I suggest emailing Ebonite and they will be glad to help you out.

Sorry I was not of more help.

Good luck,
Chip

Also, I have just recently signed with Storm :)
