Bowling/Drilled into core

Question
I got a new Hammer Black Widow a few weeks ago.  First off the pro shop mis measured my hand and the span from the finger holes to the thumb hole was too much.  They plugged it and drilled it correctly.  2 things happened.  One...The core sticks out a little causing a little lip on the old hole.  2...They drilled into the core with the new thumb hole.  The pro shop said drilling into the core isnt going to do anything and that the lip will eventually smooth out.  Should i request a new ball?

Answer
First thing, they messed up a new ball. You paid new ball prices & now you don't have one.Second, they didn't clean up the plug job.Things don't correct them selves in the ball. The lip should have been taken care of!!!This person is doing a very sub-standard job!!!
I WOULD DEMAND MY MONEY BACK & LEAVE A VAPOR TRAIL RUNNING OUT OF THERE & GO TO A COMPETENT PRO SHOP.UNFORTUNATELY THERE ARE MORE DRILLERS THAN GOOD BALL DRILLERS.LOOK UP PRO SHOPS AT PBA.COM.THERE OWNED BY PROS WHO NEED TO KEEP A GOOD REP. SO THEY WILL DO A BETTER JOB.THERE PROBABLY A LITTLE MORE EXPENSIVE BUT, WORTH IT!!!!
