Bowling/Drilling Patterns For High Revs And Low Speed

Question
I have seen recently a ball drilled where the pin was above the middle finger for a right hander. What will it do by putting the pin to the left of the Center Line, also what would it do if you had the pin to the right of the CLine and the CGravity on the left side. Could any of these layouts help me with my high rev, low speed approach on dryer lanes, i have already done plenty of pin above fingers and CG on the CLine

Answer
Placing the pin and the CG in or near your track will create some extra length for you.  It may want to track over the holes a bit though.  I have tried the pin above the middle finger and the cg left of the centerline with some success.  You just have to be carefull to not move the cg so far as to have to use an extra hole.

All this will do is lower the flare potential of the ball and raise the RG characteristics as well.

Good luck,
Chip
