Bowling/Drilling for reverse hook (Backup)

Question
Background
I have a female friend who is right handed and bowls the ball in reverse hook(backup) method.
Averages around 170 is not interested in changing style and bowls in league for enjoyment(she says). Recently she purchased a new ball Brunswick international Danger Zone 6 Power Koil
I had never heard of it but she was informed by the pro shop it would suit her style of bowling.
However she was no longer able to get the ball to react in a similar way her old ball. In fact new ball goes straight. After my cursery examination of the bowling ball it to have drilling that would suit a right hand hook bowler.
If I'm right about the drilling would that then apply negative weights to a bowler who is trying to hook the ball in an opposite directions.I would assume that this type of bowler would require weight factors similar top those by a left hand bowler.

Answer
You are correct.  When drilling a ball for a bowler that uses a reverse hook,(backup ball), you would drill it for the opposite hand.  If she is right handed, the ball should look like it was laid out for a lefthander.  The pin should be to the left of her middle finger hole.

Good luck,
Chip

This ball should have been pretty good if laid out properly.
