Bowling/Ebonite Bowling Ball

Question
On April 21, 2007, I bowled in our state tournament in Des Moines, Iowa at Bowlerama Lanes. The first game started out very well. On the third frame my Ebonite bowling ball returned with a section missing. (The ball resembled an 8 ball in pool) The area where the number 8 existed is now missing. I will be bowling in Nationals in May. This is the only ball I use. Plus the staff at the lanes stated that the bowl must have been defective and I would have to contact Ebonite for replacement. Do you have any suggestions? Do you have a phone number for Ebonite? I am up against a brick wall.
Thank you.
Jeanette

Answer
If you go to the Ebonite web site you will find contact information.  Ebonite.com.

I would imagine the ball could be fixed, which may be your best option.  That ball has not been manufactured in several years so I am not sure what Ebonite will offer to do.  You may be able to get a credit for it and place that towards a replacement.

Good luck,
Chip
