Bowling/Full roller

Question
I'd like your advice.  I'm 71 and have resumed bowling after a long lay off.  I've always used a full roller and scored well with it in the 60s.  I have tried to change to the semi roller with very little luck.  I don't care to throw the big hook and I prefer the outside line.  Would you recommend I change to stick to the full roller.

Answer
With the ball that have been available since the early 90s, there is no real need for a full roller to make the change to a semi.  It is now possible for the full roller to create a stronger change of direction and create more room on the lane and have more hitting power.
Stay with the full roller and go with a 7:30 pin position and you should be fine.

Good luck,
Chip
