Bowling/GripLoc

QuestionI am thinking of installing the GripLoc thumb insert system. I wanted to ask your opinion before doing so however.
Answer I have not tried it myself.I would ask some questions first.1. If I want to plug up the hole changing my grip, how difficult would it be to remove all parts of the griploc?Do I really need different sized holes to interchange.Does my thumb really change that much?
The $22.00 charge plus any shipping/installing is a tidy sum.The sleves are round only as far as I can see. I have only drilled one thumb hole perfectly round in my life.99.9% of thumbs are oval/snake heads. You would still need some tape.I like a tight thumb hole. I would be afraid of it remaining on my thumb. When you get the ball resurfaced, would the sleve still be flush with the surface?
THIS SYSTEM IS STILL RATHER NEW. I WOULD NEED MUCH MORE FIELD TESTING BEFORE TRUSTING IT IN MY GRIP.I WOULD ONLY PUT IT IN ONE OF MY SECOND STRING/BACKUP BALL TO TEST IT COMPLETELY BEFORE INSTALLING IT IN MY MAIN EQUIPMENT.
I AM ALL FOR NEW THINGS! I JUST NEED A LOT OF FIELD TESTING ON THEM FOR 100% TRUST.ONE EXTRA THING YOU DON'T NEED TO WORRY ABOUT AT THE RELEASE.
>>> I MAKE MY OWN OVAL THUMB INSERTS I CAN TWEAK SHAPE/BEVEL FOR AN >EXACT< FIT.THIS IS WHY I HAVE NOT EXPERIMENTED WITH GRIPLOC.MAYBE IN THE FUTURE WITH A LOT OF GOOD FEEDBACK UNDER ITS BELT.
