Bowling - New Bowling Ball

Expert: Chip Aki - 1/13/2005

Question
I'm a new bowler and I need to get a new ball. One that fits to my hand.  There are different kinds of balls out there and I'm not sure which one to get.  Like I said, I'm a new bowler so I don't want to spend too much money on my first ball.  Please Help!

Answer
If you want a ball that will give you some performace characteristics, I would look at Storm's Big Hit Particle, the Ebonite Tornado, or the Brusnwick Power Grooves.  If you want to spend a bit more, look at the Sonic series from Roto Grip.
As your technique gets better, these balls will give you some high performance characteristics without the high performace price.

Good luck,
Chip
