Question
QUESTION: Hi, I just got a new bowling ball the other day and I got it drilled yesterday. I was looking at the other balls in the pro shop so i wasn't paing attention when the guy was drilling it but when he was  finished  I saw that the Weight pin was in an awkward position i have never seen before. The weight pin is about an inch below and to the left of my thumb hole. Have you ever seen this before? What impact would this have on my ball?

Thanks in advace.
ANSWER: What kind of ball is it?  If it is some type of performance ball, it sounds like a full-roller layout was used.  That would be for someone that has a ball track that goes between the thumb and fingers.  If it is a standard 3 piece designed ball, it really doesnt matter where that pin is.

QUESTION: Its a brunswick Fury..

Answer
Do you have another ball that you were using before the Fury?
If the pin is down and to the left of the thumb, your Fury is drilled for a full roller, which is great if you are a full roller.  It would not be so hot for a 3/4 roller, although I have drilled a couple for me like that in the past.
