QuestionHi Chip,
I've been reading allot of your advieses and I have too say their really helpfull but I read the one about how to find your PAP on a ball your answer was:
Trace the first oil ring on the ball. Find the center of this circle and mark it. Now find the point directly opposite that on the other side of the ball. This is the PAP. From the center of your grip, measure over and then up or down to the PAP. This will give you your horizontal and vertical numbers. Mine is 5 3/4-> and 1/4 ^. So I have a few Q's about that.
1. How do I find the center of this "circle" ? {what tool do you use to do this }
2.How do I get the point directly opp the first point? {what tool do you use to do this}
3. How I find the centre of my grip ? {what tool do you use to do this }
Thank you very much !!!!
Sorry for the long Q's.
AnswerThe only tools you would need would be a flexible metal ruler and a quarter scale.
Once you have your circle, you can find the center of it by using the quarter scale and finding the point that is equidistant from each side of your circle.
The quarter scale will reach from the point to the point on the other side of the ball.
The center of your grip is measured from the fingers to the thumb. You can use the span ruler or the quarter scale for that. If you span is 4 inches and 4 and 1/8 inches, the center of your grip would be half of that, or 2 and 1/16 inches and can be marked by measuring from the fingers down towards your thumb. If you want to mark that permenantly, just use a nail and make a punch mark there.
Good luck,
Chip
