Question
I just purchased a Black Widow from Hammer and I was looking over the drilling instructions and was wondering about the PAP and the PIN. So my question is what the PAP is and what is the significance of the pin placement?

Thank you very much,

Christopher

Answer
The PAP is your Positive Axis Point.  Depending the relationship between your PAP and the pin and CG, you can manipulate the balls reaction.  Pin and CG placement closer to your PAP will creat earlier roll while pin and CG further from your PAP will create a later roll.  Your ball driller will be able to find your PAP from and old ball if you have one, or can take you out on the lanes to have you throw a few shots to determine your PAP.
If you PAP is not known, there are a few drilling options that will be safe.  On the info sheets in the box, you should be able to see those listed as well.

Good luck,
Chip
