Question
I just bought a lane #1 uranium buzzsaw and it has 4oz of top weight and the pin is 4" out. I want the ball to go decently long but im afraid with the high top weight and pin placement it will skid through the backends. I was wondering if u had any advice on what i should have the ball to do?  (i was thinking maybe getting it drilled to roll a little earlier and that way the pin and top weight would keep it long and the drilling would make it strong)

Answer
WIth a lot of top weight, you will not be able to do much of a lable shift without having to use a large balance hole.

Depending on how long your span is, place the pin above the bridge and place the cg below your midline and towards the right of your center line.  You may then place a small hole near your axis point and below the midline.  This will help the ball rev up a bit earlier and help with the over skid.

Good luck,
Chip
