Question
Hello... How are you? I have just bought a high-perfomance ball, Brunswick Smokin' Inferno. But, why I can't hook the ball? I back swing high, when I release the ball, the ball just like a straight ball(just twist and less hook). The Pro-Shop uncle told me that I was swing it too high, and my ball very powerful when release, it makes my ball hook less. I had drilled a balancing hole, but the ball still hook less. Can you help me solve my problem please... thanks you^^!!

Answer
Have your uncle put the ball on a ball spinner & wet sand it with 800 grit wet/dry sandpaper. This will knock the shine off the ball & give it treads (like tire treads)to grab the lane. If it hooks too much, resand it with 1000 grit. If not enough, resand with 600 grit.
