Question
Hey Chip,

For simplicity sake, I have a standard Bill Taylor layout.  My ring finger is 1/8 longer than my middle finger and everything else is comfortable.  My tracks pretty low though (3 15/16 over and 1/2 down) on my normal release, and its physically just not possible for me to get a crisp end over end roll with any hit.  I know how to alter my hand positions to get the roll I want, but I think I'm limited with my layout.

Is there something I can do with my layout to give me the higher track I seek, and so that coming out of the back of the ball can occur without my thumb grabbing?

Thanks

Answer
If you want to try something different with your grip, add right latteral pitch to each hole.  Add 1/4  right to whatever you have now.  You will also have to add it to every gripping hole.  This may get your track a bit higher without having to concentrate on it.
If you want to try a different layout, try placing the pin above and just a bit left of your middle finger.

Good luck,
Chip
