-----Question-----
i have a major problem when i release my ball it tracks over the thumb hole and then revs, but the trouble is the reaction is so inconstant due to the poor release. I'm a left hander and currently the in the England rankings? But no matter what i do, it tracks over the thumb hole, also any tips on how to slow my approach down as this could be causing a problem?

Usually, bringing the track up over the thumb hole is caused by turning the hand too early. Having your feet too fast may cause the early turning early because you have to pull your arm through to catch up with your feet. It would probably be easier to start the ball earlier in your swing instead of trying to slow down you approach. This will get your timing better and allow you to relax your swing and keep your hand behind the ball longer.
Good luck,

AnswerGet the ball placed into the swing sooner. If you take four steps, place the ball into the swing before you get your feet moving. If you take 5 steps, the get the ball placed into the swing before you take your second step.
You will not keep your hand behind the ball throughout the release. Your hand will still make a clockwise move during the release. You are just starting that move to early, probably in your backswing. Try to keep your thumb at 11 oclock and at release, rotate it to 1 or 2 oclock.
