Question
Chip-- I use 5 step delivery -I have gotten myself way out of step--with stopping on my heel

What is the best way to correct this ?

Thanks, John

Answer
In order to slide properly, you must be able to come down on the ball of your foot first and then your heel.  I would be that you are not getting the ball started in your swing soon enough which will cause your feet to get to your finish position before the ball does and you will have a tendancy to come down heel first.
One other thing to check on is your knee bend.   Without a good knee bend you will get a heel first kind of slide.

Good luck,
Chip
