Question
Hi Russ..
I have spoken to you before, I had asked the question regarding my ball, the roto Grip. I read that previous question on hooking.
I am having a problem with release. I stand with my left foot on the dot to the left of center. I am using the second arrow as my target. Holding my thumb starting at 1, and then for some reason I want to release it at 11, and the trying to gain rotation with my fingers. Im not consistent, usually leaving 10 pin. The ball is a 16 I believe. Its set up for no length..HELP Please.

Answer
I THINK YOU ARE GETTING A FLYING ELBOW.YOUR ELBOW IS BROKEN & ROTATES OUT AWAY FROM YOUR BODY AT RELEASE ENDING UP MOVING YOUR HAND TO ANOTHER POSITION OR JUST CREATING OVER TURNING.
TRY LOCKING YOUR ELBOW AT THE BOTTOM OF YOUR ARM SWING & KEEPING IT LOCKED THRU YOUR RELEASE.ALSO, WHEN HAVING PROBLEMS, KEEP IT SIMPLE.LOCK YOUR HAND INTO A POSITION & KEEP IT THERE WITH NO ROTATION AT ALL.IT IS EASY TO CORRECT SIMPLE . THEN ONCE CORRECTED, YOU CAN GET FANCY.ALLWAYS GET INTO BASICS WHEN CORRECTING A PROBLEM.
