Bowling/Are X Blems worth the savings?

Question
I have a few questions about X Blems.  Are they obvious in apperance? I don't want to show up at league with a ball with a huge x or x's all over it. Also do the blemishes alter the performance of the ball?
Thanks!

Answer
Most blems will have a small X on them and not be overly noticeable.  They can have low top weights at times as well as pins that are way out.  Most are not a problem, but they may limit your layout options.  Some are just bad colors so they may not match the non-blems.

Good luck,
