Question
I bought a Storm Hit Pearl X-Blem for $10.00. The top weight is 0.80 and the pin placement is 3-3.5. Will this ball be hard to drill and what drilling options do I have?

Answer
The Storm Hit is a pancake weight block so  you can pretty much drill it any way that you want to.  You will end up with bottom weight.  That will make the break point a little tamer and make the ball want to go into a roll a little bit sooner too.
If you want to eliminate the some of the bottom weight, drill the ball off label and place an xtra hole in the ball and pitch it downward.  It will have to be a small hole or you will add too much negative side weight.  Adding the hole wont make much difference, but would help a little.

This ball will come in handy if the lanes are dry and you want something to roll and be predictable.

Good luck,
Chip
