Bowling/arm swing

Question
Chip, I'm looping my swing behind me.  It gets stuck and I end up throwing right, or "coming over the top" as they say in golf.  I'm losing leverage and direction.  I work hard to not do it but always end up reverting back.  I need a simple tip to correct.  Thanks.

Answer
Make sure that your pushaway is not going to the right at start up.  This will make your swing go behind you more than normal.  Also, have someone watch your hand during the swing.  If you are opening the hand too much, that may cause you to bring the swing behind your back as well.

The best way to work on this is to stand in front of a mirror and swing the ball.  You can then watch the swing and try different things to get the look and feel that you want.

Good luck,
Chip
