Question
hi,
i have a big problem, i always squeeze in the ball.
sometimes my thumb gets stuck in the hole so i hit immediately in the gutter. how can i learn not to squeeze the ball? its a fingertip ball of 14lbs, groove reactive sanded and I'm left handed.
thx

Answer
If you are having to squeeze the ball to hold on to it I would take a good look at the fit of the ball.  You may even have to take it to another pro shop for a second opinion.  The thumb hole could be too big, the pitch could be wrong for your hand, or the span counld be incorrect.
If the ball seems to be ok when looked at, you may have a timing issue which is not allowing you to release the ball at the proper time.  See if someone can watch you and take a look at your physical game.

Good luck,
Chip
