Question
How are you able to measure the degree of axis tilt that a bowler has? What can be done to find the speed that a bowler can generate? Is there a way to find out what type of axis rotation that a bowler has? Thank you for your time.

Answer
If you can mark your PAP on a bowling ball, you can find this by using a video camera.  There is a chart that will give you your ball speed based on the time it takes for the ball to get to the pins.  I am sure you can do an internet search to find it because I dont remember the calculations.

There are several of the automatic scorers that give the bowlers ball speed.

That info might also be available on some of the ball company web sites as well.

Good luck,
Chip
