Question
QUESTION: I have slow ball speed(13-14)mph med. rev rate and 2 of the bowling centers i bowl in are relativly dry.Everything i throw hooks too early, even shined up but when i use too weak of a ball i get no margine of error.Any suggestions??

ANSWER: What kind of equipment are you trying to use?
One adjustment for drier lanes is to try and create more side rotation.  This will increase the skid.

QUESTION: I am using at 2 of the centers a Raid by ebonite(pin over bridge/MB strong, cherry vibe-(pin over ring finger MB strong). The other 2 centers are drier or possibly just a shorter buff with strong backends,i am using a lanemasters Hornet with pin on the axis and it works but i have a small margin for error with it.If i don't hit my release just right it can go 60',so thats why i'm looking for a ball and set-up i can move in slightly and play a small bump shot. With the Hornet i move way right and just about point it up torward the pocket, which i'm making do with but i'd like a little more margin of error. Thanks again for taking the time to answer my questions.

Answer
What do you other 2 balls do when your Hornet doesnt work?

It might be that you need a ball with less shine or polish than your Hornet.  A polished ball is not as forgiving on that type of condition.  It hooks a lot in the dry and overskids in the oil.  You could either the Vibe or Hornet and use a 1000 wet/dry sandpaper or a 1000 abralon pad.

Good luck,
Chip
