Question
Hi. I'm actually asking this question for my dad. He's a good bowler and knows his stuff about the way it should be drilled and all that wonderful stuff I know nothing about! My question is.... Do you know anywhere he can get certified to drill the balls? Any schools or seminars? Online or anything? Any information would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks again,
Kristin

Answer
I THINK GETTING CERTIFIED TO DRILL IS WAY OVERRATED.A PIECE OF PAPER ON THE WALL WILL NOT DO 3% OF WORD OF MOUTH FROM BEING A VERY GOOD DRILLER.EXPERIENCE CAN'T BE TOUGHT.BALL DRILLERS ARE A DIME A DOZEN. THEN, ONLY A FEW KNOW THE >> ART << OF BALL DRILLING.ANYBODY CAN DRILL A HOLE OR 3. BUT, WHAT COMES NEXT IS >> ART <<!!!
EBONITE USED TO RUN SEMINARS ON DRILLING YEARS AGO.I KNOW BOWLERS JOURNAL HAS CERTIFICATIONS ON COACHING. MAYBE THERE IS SOMETHING ON DRILLING.YOU CAN CONTACT BPAA.I THINK THEY RAN A SEMINAR IN VEGAS A FEW YEARS AGO AT THEIR CONVENTION.

IF YOUR FATHER IS REALLY GOOD, HE DOESN'T NEED A PIECE OF PAPER THAT STATES HE KNOWS HOW TO DRILL."NO SONG & DANCE HERE! JUST THE ART OF DRILLING BALLS." IS WHAT I HAD UP ON THE WALL IN MY SHOPS.

E-MAIL EMILYK@LUBYPUBLISHING.COM FOR A COMPLIMENTARY SUBSCRIPTION(PRO SHOPS ONLY).THIS WILL HAVE SOMETHING ON WHAT YOUR LOOKING FOR IF THERE IS ANYTHING.

WHERE IS YOUR FATHERS SHOP ?
