Question
sir, im bowling for a year now and my style is what they called in asia as the helecopter or you can call it a full spinner., with old 11 lbs brunswick demolition ball given to me by a pal., i would like to know what ball could you recommend for my style and a drilling pattern for that particular ball., cause i would like to purchase a new ball soon., thank you for taking time to read this question of mine and more power to you........  frank

Answer
I have little experience with that type of delivery, other than a friend of mine that developed that delivery to add to his arsenal.  It seemed that he didnt like anything that was aggressive because it took away the advantage of the helicopter release.  Also, in an 11# ball, there isnt much that can be done to change the dynamics of the core.

I would think any reactive resin ball that was polished might work, but I would think a standard urethane ball would be best.  When my friend threw a ball that wanted to roll, it really didnt work well with the helicopter release.

I hope this helps.

Good luck,
Chip
