Question
Which is the better type of ball? urethane or resin

Answer
There are very few standard urethane balls manufactured anymore.  Most are reactive resin or particle reactive resins.  Columbia has a new coverstock that is epoxy.

Urethane is very controllable while resins have more power potential, but are a bit more difficult to control.

It really depends on what reaction you are looking for, but the majority of bowlers would use resin today.

Good luck,
