Question
I'm a stroker and right handed. I recently got my Red Zone resurfaced to a lower grit figuring it would give me a wider entry angle into the pocket, but on the other hand it seems that the ball hooks earlier on the lane and flattens out, causing me to constantly go jersey. i stand 1 dot to the left of center; 5 step approach and aim between the first and second arrow. What adjustments would i need to do to correct it?

Answer
When you go with a rougher surface on a bowling ball, it will do exactly what you saw.  It will roll sooner and not have as sharp of a move down the lane.  It will also lessen your entry angle too.
If the ball is crossing over, you need to move both your feet and your target towards the center of the lane.  From where you are at, start with moving  you feet 3 boards in and your mark 2 boards.  Add more if needed.

Good luck,
Chip
