Bowling/ball weight

Question
I'm 45 and weigh about 135.  My hands are very small and want to know how far down in ball weight I can go before I lose too much to be effective.  Currently throwing 14 but was considering a 13lb to generate more revs.

Thanks,
Mike

Answer
Dropping down to 13# will not alter the affectiveness of the ball much at all, if any.  I know some good bowlers that use 12# equipment very well.
With todays core designs and coverstocks, weight is not as much of an issue as it used to be.  Accuracy and control can help cover some of the performance difference that comes from the weight change.

Good luck,
Chip
