how do you release the ball to generate maximum revolutions aside from increasing the backswing?
The only way to increase revolutions is to get the fingers farther under the ball prior to release. This involves "cupping" the ball after the start of the downswing and then relaxing the wrist durint the release. This keeps the fingers in the ball much longer and will increase revolutions.
Increasing the back swing is more effective on increasing ball speed.
