Question
I have two children who have been bowling regulary for a year, (at least 3 games a week)  their ages are 12 and 13.  They are currently using 10 and 11 pound balls (respectively)  I was considerig going up 2 pounds each.  Is that too much?

Answer
I dont usually go up 2 pounds at a time, but if they can handle it, I would think it would be ok.  To test them, have them hold the heavier ball in the palm of their bowling hand with the elbow at 90 degrees.  If they can hold the ball in that position for about 20 seconds, they should be able to use them.  If not, then they will have problems.

Good luck,
