Hello, I am bowling on a summer adult league where you get a free ball at the end.

I am a right handed straight bowler and was wondering if you could name a couple of balls that would be best for me.

the ball i have now i forgot the name but its okay not fancy but drilled finger tip and all the way through on the thumb when I get my new ball should i get it drilled the same way? and what difference does it really make if drilled that way.

What are your ball choices at the end of the league?
If you are happy with the way the ball fits, then have the new one drilled the same way.
Using the fingertip grip allows you to create a stronger release, if you want to.  You can throw the ball striaght with any kind of grip.

If you throw the ball straight, it really doesnt matter what ball you get.  The higher performance type balls may give you better pin action.
