Where did the term "Turkey" (Three strikes in a row )originate from?

I am sorry but I dont not know the answer to that.  I would suggest you contact the National Bowling Hall of Fame and Museum.  They have a web site.  I am sure you can do a search and find it.  IF that does not work, go to bowl.com and try to contact them.
