Question
how to attack and best drillings and ball to use

Answer
Find the trench that everybody is bowling on & move just inside that line. This will give you most of the light oil that gets pushed aside & will give you a dry bump to the right for those drifting shots.

I like to go with a light top weight & a finesse it 30,000 grit shine.I like a plain old 3 piece Urethane for the drier shots.Mirror shine it no top after drilling & no weights. This way , when the shot goes past 5th arrow, you can stop chasing the shot deeper & then move way right to find the last oil.As you began, the outside was too dry. But after 5th arrow, it becomes a way out & is now oiler than 4th arrow.I spread out my pinkie, stretch down the lane like a stroker or say going for a 9 pin spare with a hook up & into the 1-3.
I HAVE EVEN GONE AS FAR WITH A PIN OUT BALL AS TO PUT THE PIN ON MY TRACK NEXT TO MY MIDDLE FINGER 1" OUT. THIS DEVELOPS NO FLAIR & KEEPS THE OIL ON THE SAME PART OF THE BALLS TRACK LINE.
THE POINT WHEN THE DEEP LINE LEAVES WEAK CORNERS IS WHEN YOU JUMP TO THE RIGHT.A SIMPLE LINE IS BEST WHEN THE BALL RUNS AWAY FROM YOU.
