Question
im thinking about getting into bowling and getting my own equipment. i had a few basic questions. what brand of bowling ball do you recomend? where should i go to buy one? any advice you have would be great.

Answer
Every company has very good bowling balls, with no clearcut favorite.

The best place to purchase a bowling ball is a IBPSIA member pro shop.  However, there are some very good pro shops that do not belong.  Just ask some local bowlers where they go.

The reason you want to purchase a ball at a pro shop is to make sure you get the proper fit.  Without a proper fit, the best ball in the world will do you no good.

To get a ball that is better than the house balls, or can provide more performance, I would think you are going to be looking at about $100.00 in cost........depending on the region of the country you are in.

Good luck,
